Olesya Khromeychuk:听'Militarizing Women in the Ukrainian Nationalist Movement of the 1930s-1950s'
Dr Olesya Khromeychuk is a Leverhulme Early Career Fellow at the University of East Anglia. She is the author of听鈥淯ndetermined鈥� Ukrainians. Post-War Narratives of the Waffen SS 鈥淕alicia鈥�听Division听(Oxford: Peter Lang, 2013). She is听currently researching the participation and representation of women in military formations in the Second World War and in the ongoing conflict in the Donbas region.听

Marta Havryshko: 'Love and Sex in Wartime: Controlling Women's Sexuality in the Ukrainian Nationalist Underground'
Dr Marta Havryshko is Junior Research Associate at the Ivan Krypiakevych Institute of Ukrainian Studies, Ukrainian National Academy of Sciences. She is the author of several academic articles on gender aspects of the history of the听Organization of Ukrainian听Nationalists and the听Ukrainian Insurgent Army. Her research interests include gender, feminism and nationalism, women and war, and oral history. She is also involved in a project that researches women's experiences in the war in eastern Ukraine.听
