This interdisciplinary degree draws on history, philosophy, sociology and psychology, and prepares students to take a lead role in understanding and transforming society through the multifaceted lens of education. This programme was formerly known as Education Studies BA.
The UK government has extended coverage for free school meals to children whose families have no recourse to public funds, following work in 2019 by undergraduate students from IOE, UCL’s Faculty of Education and Society.
IOE has been rated as the world number one for Education for the tenth year in a row, the QS World University Rankings by Subject reveal.
