Why older people take fewer risks

A study led by Dr Robb Rutledge (ÐÂÏã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹ûInstitute of Neurology and Max Planck ÐÂÏã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹ûCentre for Computational Psychiatry & Ageing Research), which uses data collected from The Great Brain Experiment, has found that older people are less willing to take risks for potential rewards and this may be due to declining levels of dopamine in the brain.
