Description

This module uses interactive-lectures, group exercises and case studies to explore how business design can be developed to enable successful transformation. The module includes a discussion of the fundamentals of business design, including its importance and its key aspects. Architecture, technical design and design integration are introduced, with successful transformations being shown to bridge customer and supplier concepts of value. Models of organisation, information technology and finance are discussed in the context of the organisation to that is to undergo the transformation. Design thinking and the concepts of design integrity and design authority are introduced.
