Through participation in the course activities you will develop your understanding of different academic contexts and discourse; explore strategies for developing students’ academic skills, such as summarising and writing critically; and gain an understanding on the use of technology and assessment. The module will also support you in understanding and critically evaluating the teaching materials and approaches used in the TEAP classroom, as well as strategies for the diagnosis of student needs, and analysis and evaluation of different types of academic texts.
