Description

In this module you will work with other healthcare students on Inter-professional learning tasks. You will also select from a range of activities that develop your citizenship and contribute to the wider community, such as taking part in research as a participant or volunteering within university schemes or charities. You will take part in public involvement events and will engage with professionals working in clinical, commercial, research and charity sectors within Audiology. You will also develop your study and academic skills.

This module aims to provide you with:

  • Knowledge and skills to help you learn and progress academically.
  • The opportunity to connect with audiology and other healthcare professionals and members of the public.
  • The opportunity to broaden your horizons and develop as an individual.

On completion of this module you will:

  1. Have access to resources that help you study.
  2. Have had the opportunity to talk to members of the public and people with ear disorders
  3. Have engaged with other healthcare professionals.
  4. Have taken part in community activities of your choice.
