Description

The module is designed to give students the knowledge, skills, behaviours required for the preparation of a spatial development plan at the scale of the city or sub-regional scale, and to translate development targets, ideas, concepts into policies and broad locations for future urban development. The module is organised around one single ongoing major project, divided into two main components:

1) Urban analysis to develop the knowledge and evidence needed to support the translation of the project principles into a spatial development plan.

3) Spatial development plan, including spatial and delivery strategies for housing, economy, infrastructural, and environmental goals.
