Description

Communicating science is an essential part of doing science. While it is necessary to communicate well with other scientists, it is also very important to communicate effectively with a variety of other audiences.Ìý

In this module you will learn why science communication matters, and continue developing your own skills in this area. You will study the use of language, structure and visuals in different forms of science communication, and have the opportunity to learn from some special guests. You will gain plenty of communication practice throughout the module as you work towards your final assignments.

You will be assessed on an individual science news assignment, and on a group podcast. For the podcast assignment, you will take on different roles within a team to research, present, record and edit one episode of a science-themed podcast.
