Description

Content: This module offers students the opportunity to work on a research project addressing a specific research question, and to submit a written report on the project. Students also get an opportunity to present their research among their peers and project supervisors.

Teaching Delivery: 2 lectures are offered throughout the year; one towards the end of term 1, and the other at the beginning of term 2

Indicative Topics: One lecture focuses on writing a research paper and the other aims at checking students' progress

Module Aims:

The module aims to provide students with the ability to:

1. engage in scientific inquiry through a research project

2. conduct a critical review of the literature

3. collect and analyse research data

4. share their research project with their peers through individual presentations

5. write a full research report
