Students on the MSc or PGDip International Real Estate and Planning will be guaranteed a place on this module if they select it no later than the end of September.
After this date, spaces will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis up to a strict cap, with precedence given to students from the Bartlett School of Planning.
Non-IREP students: This module is not suitable for those who are new to the concepts of Economics. Interested students should email the Module Coordinator, Dr Qiulin Ke (q.ke@ucl.ac.uk) to check suitability before approvals may be made.

There are no alternative credit options available for this module.
The aim of the module is to introduce the concepts of real estate economics. It covers areas such as the relation between real estate and macro-economy, real estate investment, demand and supply, development dynamics, land market, location choice and basic modelling techniques. The module focuses on commercial real estate market, but it covers housing economics as well.
