Description

This practice-research based module brings together the theories and methodologies of creative media with practice and technical production. Students will make independent projects that engage with critical aspects of media by developing creative artefacts. Combining theory and practice, students will be encouraged to undertake interdisciplinary research that addresses critical enquiry through audiovisual media such as film, interactive application, games, podcasts or other forms of creative media. A practice-based essay will address the theoretical underpinning of their practice, critical reflection of the production process, the wider social, creative and industrial relevance of the work and a description of their process.
