Description

Pharma-economics is a branch of health economics which deals with identifying, measuring and comparing the costs and consequences of pharmaceutical products and medical technologies. 听You will learn the concepts involved in pharmacoeconomic analysis including cost minimization (CMA), cost effectiveness (CEA), cost benefit (CBA) and cost utility (CUA) analysis. 听You will also come to appreciate the tremendous help that听pharma-economics听can play in decision making when evaluating drug treatments. 听You will also learn how to interpret results from pharmacoeconomic studies as well as understand when to use various techniques and approaches for economic evaluations.
