Description

The module provides you with an understanding of the theories and approaches to the study of human behaviour in organisations. You will gain an appreciation for the evolution of the discipline through an approach that starts out with the early historical theories of organisational behaviour to present thought leadership. ÌýThis theoretical grounding will be integral for understanding the evolution of the workplace and how it mirrors and interacts with the larger societal norms. ÌýThis module and approach will help you understand what responsible leadership involves particularly in regards to diversity and social justice in the wider business and societal environment.

You will also address key issues surrounding the management of diversity in the workplace. ÌýYou will explore the meaning and interpretation of workplace diversity and inclusion as well as how to foster an inclusive, rewarding and productive workplace. ÌýConsequently, you will learn the ways of managing people effectively while recognising the importance of individual diversity within this process.Ìý
