Description

As a professional research scientist articles published in scientific journals are the primary source of prior knowledge. In this module you will learn how to read and understand papers efficiently and to critically evaluate the evidence. In small teaching groups you will discuss a different paper each week. The group is student-led with members taking it in turn to present the paper. You will develop critical thinking skills and improve presentation (both visual and spoken) and develop the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and precisely.
