Description

This module is for MSc Burns, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery programme students only and provides research experience within a skilled and supportive environment. Students will complete a clinical or regenerative or nanotechnology themed research project.

This module provides the opportunity to undertake a lab or non-lab based research or clinical research on a specified topic with one-to-one supervision by a ÐÂÏã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹ûacademic. Guided by your supervisor, you will develop skills in searching literature databases, reading and critically evaluating published work and presenting a written and oral report of the work. Develop the necessary transferable skills and learn an appreciation of the needs and requirements of patients requiring this speciality

To help you find a suitable project you will be provided with a list of potential subject areas and supervisors but you may propose your own topic with a supervisor not on the list. Self-organised dissertations must be formally approved by the Research project co-ordinator.
