Description

The module will develop your understanding of the route to market for different medical innovations. It will provide you with an understanding of the peer review process, grant applications and how funding for translation is obtained. You will acquire a knowledge of intellectual property protection of medical innovations. As part of this module, you will review and judge the commercial viability of different medical innovation ideas from case studies based on Innovate UK Biomedical Catalyst. The module will provide you with the knowledge and skills required for the year 3 business plan competition and will impart relevant knowledge for the progression of medical innovation ideas and commercialisation pathways.
