Description

The module introduces the principles of stakeholder management, theoretically framing the dynamics between internal and external players in complex and uncertain organisations. It presents strategies for the process of creation and co-creation of value to address the requirements of different stakeholders (e.g. local communities, local authorities, regulators, end-users). Theoretical frameworks for managing the competing priorities from different actors will be introduced, highlighting the importance of creating and maintaining a positive narrative about the value and innovation (internally and externally).

The module aims to provide an understanding about different techniques to manage benefits and stakeholders in politically sensitive contexts with high scrutiny, emphasising the role of corporate diplomats, as a coordinated team of project ambassadors.
