Description

The module introduces students to some key works of Hungarian literature, both in the original language and in English translation. Students will read a range of works from a range of historical periods, from the ‘classics’ of Hungarian literature to more recent works that will introduce students to current trends. Students will deepen their familiarity with the cultural, historical, and political contexts of Hungarian literature and strengthen existing skills in research, analysis, and presentation of ideas.
