Description

This module introduces students to different ways of understanding cities and urban society, as well as the place of architecture in this context. Students work in seminar groups of 7-9. Seminar topics will include modes of subjectively understanding the city and the influence of the design and development of cities, past and present, on the contemporary built environment. Seminar groups will present to each other over the course of this module. Students write a paper that describes a personal investigation of the seminar topic that they are working with.
