Description

This module will cover theoretical and research literature on central concepts and methods of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and practical teaching of fundamental skills for the application of CBT. Skills based competencies will be developed through small group experiential work and role-plays in workshops, linked to group supervision by course members and individual/group supervision in the place of work. Self-directed study will include general reading for each course and preparatory reading for each session. Web based resources will allow students to study examples of clinical therapy sessions and clinical demonstrations of specific techniques.
