Description
This module offers additional experience in filmmaking, building on the work completed in preceding modules. Like the previous modules, it is structured around the creation of a short film. However, it delves deeper into different skills and explores various artistic approaches. Therefore, students will have the opportunity to create more polished works. Similar to previous assignments, they will collaborate in groups to produce a short film, progressing from scripting through to post-production. By the end of the term, they will have finished the production of a short film, enhancing their understanding of core creative and technical skills.

PATHWAY 1: Critical Media with Film 鈥� an emphasis on theory, but with a throughline of practical work in film-making running through Years 2 and 3. This pathway will follow the theory modules and all the practice modules in film up to advanced level.听
PATHWAY 3: Media Practice 鈥� an emphasis on design in both Film and Games/VR/AR/XR, with options in critical theory to complement this. This pathway will follow all the practice modules in both film and games up to advanced level, along with selected theory modules.听
