Description

This module aims to equip you as a student with the knowledge and skills to analyse and engage with contemporary issues in the theory and practice of humanitarian action. You will learn methods for monitoring and evaluating humanitarian action in international development, environmental and climate change and conflict zones. Learning will be based on practical examples and scenarios of humanitarian action and international development, including collaborative research and practice.

The module will include small-group tutorials. Tutorials will include analysis, discussions and exercises featuring examples relating to humanitarian action and support you as a student in developing analytical, presentation, and report-writing skills.
