Description

This module provides an in-depth exploration of the elements of game design, from conceptualisation to publishing in relation to games and immersive experiences.Ìý Building on Making the Media I, students will develop their acquired skills in programming, concept development, level design, character design and writing for interactive experiences.Ìý The module utilises games theory, platform design, psychology of games and the analysis of games in relation to the larger context of media and platforms.Ìý Students will develop an advanced understanding of workflow from conceptual development to adaptation and production.Ìý Students will develop an independent way of managing projects and developing their work within limited timeframes.
