Description

This is the first of three extensive 鈥榙esign practice鈥� modules aimed to develop skills in design, architecture and engineering synthesis enhancing students鈥� ability to address complex design challenges in the built environment by bringing together 鈥榢now what鈥� of science and 鈥榢now how鈥� of design. The 鈥楧esign Practice 1鈥� is undertaken within a relatively open design studio structure, where all students undertake projects in response to a brief that is set across the whole year, with weekly tutorials and regular events including seminars and peer assessments, crits and reviews.
