Description

This module will problematise what constitutes a learning environment and the debates around how a 'quality' environment is defined. Students will have opportunities to consider the purposes and functions of learning environments within diverse educational contexts while considering the conditions necessary to create the same. By debating the role of resources, indoors and outdoors atmospheres, the significance of socio-cultural, visual, and architectural aesthetics, students will explore how diverse ecosystems have influenced learning perspectives and associated approaches/experiences to young children’s education.
