Description

In this module you will learn about effective communication between the clinician and patient/client. You will learn written, verbal and non-verbal communication skills and when they are appropriate to use. You will also explore different ways to communicate effectively with hearing impaired and deaf people. The importance of active listening in patient centred care and when supporting decision making will also be discussed and you will learn the basic counselling skills used in audiology clinics.
