Description

Building on the basic module, you will have advanced level learning of the most common neurological conditions seen in clinical practice. The topics include degenerative spinal disease headache and facial pain, neuro-ophthalmology, neuro-otology, diseases of the autonomic nervous system, neurological issues in general medicine and surgery and neuropsychiatry. Learning is through online interactive lectures and will be facilitated through tutor and student interactions through the online forums.

On completion of the module, you will be able to apply the knowledge to form a differential diagnosis and plan management for neurological disorders such as trigeminal autonomic cephalalgia, low back ache, psychogenic or functional neurological disorders. The learning from this module can be utilised to better diagnose patients presenting with unusual headaches, acute vertigo or symptoms of autonomic failure.
