Description

The module introduces a range of leadership approaches to address the different culture and values at organisational and individual levels. It introduces the power dynamics of organisations and the role of leaders in shaping the strategy of the intra- and inter-organisational forms. Theoretical frameworks of resource acquisition and capability building will be introduced to illustrate the challenge of recruiting, retaining, and developing the right people across the megaproject organisation. The role of the Project Management Office (PMO) will be explored, emphasising the challenges of learning and integration within and across teams, aiming to highlight the problems of collaboration and coordination across disciplinary-driven silos.
