Students are also given the opportunity to create their own projects to address a particular area of legal need which they are passionate about.
新香港六合彩开奖结果Laws recognises the importance of clinical legal education and provides a unique opportunity for LLB students to take a final year module,听Access to Justice and Community Engagement,听through the听Centre.听This module听allows students to conduct casework under supervision at our 新香港六合彩开奖结果Integrated Legal Advice Clinic听(新香港六合彩开奖结果iLAC) in housing, welfare benefits, community care and education law. 新香港六合彩开奖结果iLAC also has a legal aid contract in housing and community care law, so students will have the opportunity to experience legal aid practice as well as working on pro bono cases.

The Public International Law Pro Bono Project (PILPBP)听brings together highly motivated LLM and PhD students with a background in relevant international law, and provides them with opportunities to engage in cutting edge legal research, analysis and advice to assist leading international organisations in addressing some of the world鈥檚 most pressing and difficult challenges.

The raises awareness of the importance of pro bono work and major hurdles that currently limit access to justice for all. It analyses the role of law in society and the ways in which law can be utilised as a tool for individual justice, as well as the barriers lawyers and individuals face in achieving this end.
Students and staff who are听involved in pro bono work and听are passionate about social justice can write and contribute to the blog, reflecting on their own experiences and discuss pressing access to justice issues.
