During his appointment at the 新香港六合彩开奖结果Centre for Law and聽Environment, Peter will aim to share his knowledge of the challenges and opportunities facing environmental law. He commented:聽鈥淚 hope to bring some practical experience from the frontlines of working with Government and implementing environmental law on the ground to both the Centre and also its student community.鈥�

Peter is formerly Director of Legal Services at the Environment Agency and has been at the forefront of the design and implementation of environmental law in England working across the private, public and NGO sectors.

Peter is a former trustee and Chair of the UK Environmental Law Association (2001-11) and of St Werburghs City Farm, Bristol (2012-18). He is a Board member of the Great Western Credit Union (2021-present) and is currently a member of the Law Society鈥檚 Climate Change Working Party.

Peter has published and spoken widely about environmental law issues. Recent publications include:
