Dr Ralph Wilde awarded Best Paper in International Law Prize by International Studies Association

Dr Ralph Wildehas been awarded the Best Paper in International Law Prize of the , the US-based global membership organization for International Relations scholars.听

One prize is awarded annually for 鈥榦utstanding contributions to the field of international law.鈥 Dr Wilde was awarded it for the paper he gave at the ISA Annual Conference in 2021, a work in progress on the extraterritorial application of human rights and international adjudication, which will be submitted for publication later this year.听

This forms part of Dr Wilde鈥檚 ongoing 鈥human rights beyond borders鈥 project that was awarded a by the European Research Council.听 It reflects a recognition of his work by his peers in the discipline of International Relations, complementing the prizes he was previously awarded in the discipline of International Law (the of the American Society of International Law) and Law generally in the UK (the Leverhulme Trust ).听 The most recent publication from Dr Wilde鈥檚 project is 鈥.鈥
