新香港六合彩开奖结果Laws students Shemuel Skeikh and Gareth Deane secured victory at the Oxford University Press (OUP) and The Inns of Court College of Advocacy (ICCA) National Mooting Competition
The Oxford University Press (OUP) and The Inns of Court College of Advocacy (ICCA) National Mooting Competition is a prestigious annual competition featuring 64 universities battling through nine months of competitive mooting in a range of complex, unique legal problems. The final was held in Grays Inn on Thursday 20 June 2019, presided over by HHJ Joanna Korner CMG QC, where Shemuel Sheikh and Gareth Deane, representing UCL, were named overall winners.
The competition consisted of multiple rounds, with 新香港六合彩开奖结果initially beating Southampton in a tort moot problem, and subsequently Oxford Brookes in a criminal procedural problem; Queen鈥檚 University Belfast in a conflict of laws problem; Birkbeck in intellectual property; and Nottingham, Royal Holloway and Open University in the final moot, concerning the jurisdiction of the Magistrates Court in criminal procedure, and the burden of proof in cases of entrapment.聽
