Andrew McLean, PhD Candidate and Junior Research Fellow of the ÐÂÏã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹ûCentre for Law, Economics and Society, delivered presentations in Durham and Paris last month.

Andrew presented on the innovative benefits of common ownership at Durham University's Institute for Commercial and Corporate Law Annual Conference, where his contribution was recognised as best in the competition law category. Similarly, speaking at a competition law and sustainability conference held at Sciences Po, Andrew urged environmental concerns to be considered should authorities attempt to tackle common ownership in industries characterised by high carbon emissions.

Andrew's presentations were based on his doctoral research into competition law in the era of financialised capitalism.Â
