LLM students from across the globe were welcomed to ÐÂÏã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹ûLaws with a packed schedule of events and activities during induction week.
Students heard from various members of ÐÂÏã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹ûLaws staff, who delivered lectures on ‘hot topics’ in the field of law – such as the global credit crisis; lawyers’ ethics; and nationalism and identity.
There were also sessions on study skills; social events; campus tours; and team-building exercises. One activity involved building towers from spaghetti, providing the new students with an opportunity to get to know one another better.
On Friday afternoon, students took part in a Treasure Hunt around the ÐÂÏã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹ûcampus. The winner will be announced at the Dean’s Welcome Reception next Wednesday.
