Dr Steven Vaughan, Senior Lecturer in Environmental Law at ÐÂÏã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹ûLaws, has been on areas such as his best advice for students, why law essays differ to other subjects and what the most common mistakes can be.

The article follows an exercise Dr Vaughan undertook with his current ÐÂÏã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹ûLaws students where they were invited to mark an essay, only to discover after that it was written by himself when an undergraduate. Dr Vaughan was demonstrating to his students that good essay writing takes time and practice, and not to worry if they are not submitting perfect pieces of work from day one.Â
