Duties and Responsibilities:

The Public Policy and Partnerships Manager will develop and manage activities which enhance the impact, profile and funding of the ÐÂÏã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹ûEuropean Institute (EI) and the community it serves. Working closely with academics from across UCL’s faculties whose research centres on Europe, the postholder will lead on initiatives that engage with policy makers, regulators, businesses and the third sector. Advising EI, Faculty of Law and wider ÐÂÏã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹ûstaff on strategic issues pertaining to public policy, and specifically European/EU public policy, is another important remit of the post.Ìý

The postholder will research, write and edit papers, briefings and reports with ÐÂÏã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹ûacademics and independently as required. She or he will also lead on the operational aspects of the EI, including financial, programme and event management, and liaise with Faculty of Laws and wider ÐÂÏã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹ûprofessional services staff. This is a permanent post, working closely with the Executive and Academic Directors of the Institute, as well as with the Head of Academic Programming.
